Local Restaurant Teams Up with Harvest for Hunger to Feed the Hungry

Owen Sound Harvest for Hunger was thrilled to be able to offer limited seating for a delicious meal at the Curry House restaurant here in town. Thanks to the restaurant owner, Sharif, it was a great evening and the proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank Project. As with all donations, the government of Canada will match the monies 4 to 1.
Those who participated agreed that the meal was delicious, whether they chose the Butter Chicken, Beef or Lamb Rogon or Chicken Tikka Masala, and no one went away hungry with the amount of food served, though some did go away with carry out containers! It was a great way to spend an evening out with family or friends with the added benefit of helping to feed the hungry around the world.
A special thanks to the Curry House for their generous contribution to this endeavour. If you missed this event watch for details of another sitting coming up in September. We will provide details on this site as well as at our Fun Day at the Farm in August. Hope to see you at both events!
